I'm a PNW transplant living in Chicago, IL. I moved to here to study acting at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, receiving my BFA in 2018. My training in photography comes not from an academic setting but rather a familial one. My dad is a photographer and he made sure cameras were a part of my life since early childhood.
I find the way a single image can tell a story to be almost addictive. Where acting allows me to tell stories through the words and aesthetics of others - photography allows me to create my own worlds and tell my own stories. In this way the two art forms have helped me find an artistic balance in my life that I am extremely grateful for.
